So about two weeks ago I went to a Fastball concert. Yeah, the band who wrote "The Way"? Right. Them. Everybody knows that song. Anyway, it was one of the best concerts I've ever been to (and I've been to some awesome concerts), in this little Yoga studio. I was in the front row and I got to meet Miles and Tony afterwards. Yay! Over the next few days, which eventually turned into the last two weeks, I made a ton of icons. So here they are!
They also recorded a cd that night, which I bought… But I haven't gotten it yet. When I do, expect more.

Many of the lyric icons towards the end are from four new songs on the album "Little White Lies" that will be released in September. The songs can currently be heard on the band's MySpace page, here. Icons 18-20 and the first two color bars are based on the new album art.
Just for lulz, I arranged the concert quotes in the order they were said (they were all Miles - he was really talkative. XD;), and if you look very, veeery closely, you'll see I arranged the lyric icons in the order the albums they're on were released, then the order the songs appear on the album, and the order the lyrics are heard in the song. Can you say "bored?" LOL, [epic geek fail]

I was totally going to make a similar post in the comm, though minus the icons because I've only gotten around to making myself a FO banner so far, heh.
Oh, and the quotes have just solidified my decision to drive 7 hours by myself, missing my beloved Taekwon-Do class, to see them again in a few weeks. That and I'd really like a picture with Miles in which he is sober, lol.
Haha! Do it! My brother lives in Austin, so I'm considering asking my parents to go for a visit on a weekend that just *happens* to coincide with another concert.

LOL! He was pretty far from hammered when I took a picture with him. XD He and Tony had had a little wine during the concert, but as he said - it doesn't really count as drinking if it's wine.

He was telling me about how they're going to Peru and how he read that they choke tourists, and he was asking me for self-defense tips because I told him I'm into martial arts. It was priceless, lol. He messaged me on myspace and said I could be their head of security, hahahaha.
Lol, he does look like he had a little something to drink, doesn't he? If I could find the cord for my camera I'd post mine…
Haha, choke tourists?! Nooo. o_o Although I guess that's a good reason to take up martial arts. To be honest, when I read the comment I went, "…I have to start Taekwondo." I wanna go to Peru with the boys. XD;
Oh, man, he was completely wasted. My brother and I couldn't figure out how he got so drunk so fast since he was fine while they were playing, but when he got off and we talked to him he was slurring his words, standing right on top of me (no boundries, lol), etc. It was hilarious.
